Saving money doesn’t have to be difficult – it can be as simple as signing up to various deal sites. Everybody loves a good deal, and there are plenty of websites out there with daily specials for restaurants, beauty treatments, goods and other services. Some offer simple discount deals, while for others, deals are activated when a certain number of people have hit purchase.
Here’s a list of our favourite savings sites:
Groupon
Aiming to be the world’s biggest online marketplace, Groupon opened its virtual doors in 2011. Currently, its customer base sits at 3.65 million subscribers, who receive for daily emails specific to their home city. Deals offered can be bought in real time, either via your desktop computer, tablet or smartphone, and include everything from holidays to restaurants, hairdressers and adventure activities. The company also offers great deals on electronics, home furnishings and fashion.
LivingSocial
Much like Groupon, LivingSocial offers goods and services at a highly discounted price. The site also offers weekend getaways and tickets to one-of-a-kind events in sport, theatre and music. LivingSocial also offers travel packages and guided tours to local, domestic and international locations. LivingSocial’s point of difference is it also offers coupons. While sometimes you’ll be purchasing a voucher, other times you may be purchasing a discount or promotional code you can input directly to the website you’re actually purchasing from.
Travel Factory

Catch of the Day also owns deal sites Scoopon, Mumgo, Grocery Run and Yumtable.
Gilt
Gilt offers instant access to top designer labels at up to 70% off its original retail price. Offers are only available to members however, so you must sign up to the website before shopping. Products are available for men, women, children and the home. And for an added bonus, the website also offers local services and experiences. Ozsale

Sales generally only last around 48 hours and stock goes quickly, so it’s definitely beneficial to check first thing in the morning if you have your eye on something.
Dr Grab
One of the newer deal sites out there, Dr Grab was founded in 2014 by the people who used to source and package goods to customers for sites such as Groupon and LivingSocial. Much like where they came from, the team at Dr Grab offer quality products for a fraction of the price. Again, goods are separated into categories for ease of use. A handy element of this website is every time someone purchases something, a little notification appears in the sidebar, so you know what’s on the site in other categories. However beware, this may lead to impulse buying!
